Univation at the Young Innovators Festival 2024

The European Young Innovators Festival 2024 in Graz, Austria, was a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and societal impact. Among the many standout moments of the event was UniVation, an international entrepreneurship program by the WSA that empowers students to tackle real-world challenges through purpose-driven tech ventures.

What is UniVation?

UniVation is an annual international entrepreneurship program by WSA that connects students from European universities to collaboratively tackle challenges faced by digital impact ventures, integrating practical issues into academic studies. Over four weeks, students form interdisciplinary teams to analyze and provide solutions for European Young Innovators 2024 ventures, gaining skills through weekly sessions. The program concludes at the European Young Innovators Festival, where teams present their consultancy work to founders and an international jury, culminating in the selection of three winners. The winning teams of UniVation are selected by the jurors based on the quality of their suggested improvements, how realistic their suggestions were to implement, and how well they pitched their solutions.
