Khalid Machchate is a Moroccan social development activist and entrepreneur. He founded Skillearn and SOS Santé, social enterprises developing innovative hardware and software solutions for education and health issues, and winning over 7 national and international innovation awards from the likes of Intel, Microsoft, Pepsi, and Startup Championship. He co-founded also “Hope, for social and cultural good”, an NGO impacting 30 000+ people in south Morocco, with programs i.e. literacy courses for women, Anti-Dropout campaigns, and medical caravans. He worked as a mentor, project manager, trainer, consultant and Executive board member for global organizations such as UNICEF, UNESCO, JCI, Ashoka, Global Shapers of the WEF, Junior Achievement, Startup Grind amongst others mainly in projects tackling social innovation in solving different SDGs.

 

Holding a Master’s Degree in Software/Embedded systems engineering, TEDx Speaker and a certified coach in Leading through Social Entrepreneurship. Khalid was distinguished by several Foundations and Government entities as the global Moroccan Champion and representative in Robert Bosch Stiftung’s ChangeMakerXchange cohort, World Government Summit, ArabNet Summit, Demo Africa, NYU International Hackathon for Social Good Mentorship...  he is always striving to scale up his positive impact.
