Robert Ginthör joined the Know-Center, Austria’s leading research center for data-driven business and big data analytics, in 2015 as CTO and Head of Data Innovation. Prior to that, he worked for more than 20 years in the Telecom and IT sectors, mainly in software and business development. He lectures on the topics of Big Data and Data-Driven Business at Danube University Krems and Austrian Marketing University of Applied Sciences.

Robert Ginthör holds a PhD degree in Computer Science from Technical University Graz as well as a Master’s degree in Innovation Management from CAMPUS 02 University of Applied Sciences. Since 2019 he is also member of working group AG 001.42 “Artificial Intelligence” at Austrian Standards.
