Vanessa specializes in creating cross-sectoral and international partnerships, developing business models, blended finance resource development, project management and execution and strategic planning as well as Communications strategy.
In April 2020 Vanessa assumed the role of the director of Israel's National Advisory Board, a member of the GSG since 2015, and established the Israeli Forum for Impact Economy in 2021. The Israeli Forum for Impact Economy serves as the local Israeli national Advisory Board (NAB) within the international Global Steering Group (GSG). It convenes, catalyzes, and connects the Israeli impact ecosystem. we strive to accelerate an impact economy that will deliver social, environmental, and economic value, and produce sustainable economic growth, through cross sectoral collaborations.
Previously, Vanessa served as deputy director of The Jerusalem Press Club (JPC), an NGO that works to promote nuanced, balanced reporting that presents Israel’s multifaceted nature by providing professional content, programs and networking for foreign journalists covering Israel, who represent the world’s leading Media outlets.
Vanessa led the development of a successful multi track strategy for the JPC while representing and promoting the interests of the organization and the State of Israel in international forums.
Vanessa holds a BA in International Relations and East Asian Studies, as well as an MA in East Asian Studies specializing in China, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. And is a graduate of the Impact Investing program of the Said business school at the Oxford University. She is a proud graduate of the IDF’s 8200 unit. Vanessa speaks fluent Hebrew, French and English and is intermediate level of Chinese.
