Hanna Kumera Kitila is a youth leader from Ethiopia. She has bachelor degrees in civil engineering and management studies and masters in project management. Ever since she was 11 years old, Hanna was always passionate to serve her community and demonstrated her passion through decade of volunteering and advocating for major thematic areas such as UN SDG Goals, Agenda2063, education, youth empowerment, gender, health and climate. She has also worked professionally on similar projects with governmental institutions, NGOs, private companies and CSOs.
Hanna is World Summit Awards (WSA) ambassador, chairperson of AMREF Youth council Ethiopia, Cofounder of a local CSO named Shine Abyssinia, regional leader of international earth charter, national representative of creative educator’s international network, IEP peace ambassador, McKinsey forward program champion and ardent lover of community work. Hanna believes “The power of youth is the common wealth for the entire world”.
