Jan has over 20 years of experience in managing multi-donor projects in the fields of social innovation, youth empowerment, and career development, with a strong focus on Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Western Balkans, and the international context.

He is the founder of the Social Innovation Incubator MUNJA, one of the leading NGOs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose programs have directly supported more than 120,000 individuals, including young people, youth workers, and education professionals. He launched the regional initiative STAR.study for youth career development, which includes an interactive digital portal, STARfest – the largest festival for career development in the region, STARforum – the central meeting place for key stakeholders from education, business, public sector, and civil society, and STARchallenge – a national entrepreneurship competition for high school students in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Throughout his career, Jan has worked as a consultant with over 50 international organizations, institutions, and companies, contributing to a wide range of youth-focused and development-oriented initiatives. His concept for the “Innovation Challenge” for AS Holding received the national award for Best HR Practice in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2019.

He holds a Master’s degree in Social Development Practice from London Metropolitan University, alongside participation in several other respected international professional development programs.
