Dorus Silwizya is a 2025 Mandela Washington Fellow and a dynamic Senior Innovation Associate based in Lusaka, Zambia. She specialises in leveraging Human-Centered Design (HCD) and Lean Startup methodologies to build robust entrepreneurial ecosystems across Africa.

Her changemaking pathway is marked by impactful work across the private sector, civil society, and innovation space. She serves as BongoHive's engine for growth, driving innovation initiatives and leading teams applying HCD to enhance customer satisfaction. She led the nationwide implementation of the Zero Violence project, promoting safe and inclusive workplaces across all 10 provinces of Zambia.

Additionally, she spearheaded the capacity-building of 120 young people living with disabilities on civil rights. This initiative enhanced their civic participation and culminated in the placement of two participants as polling assistants in the 2021 general elections.
