Celina Pereira is Deputy Secretary for State Transformation at the Brazilian Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services.
She is also a member of the expert committee working on the proposed revision of Decree-Law 200/1967, a critical piece of federal legislation on Brazilian public sector.
Since 2008, Celina Pereira has served as a Specialist in Public Policy and Government Management. Her extensive career includes positions at various government institutions: the Ministries of Education, Justice, and Economy; the Presidential Office; the Civil House; CADE (Administrative Council for Economic Defense); the Minas Gerais State Government; São Paulo City Hall; and the OECD.
In academia, she conducts research in Political Science and Public Administration.
She is currently concluding a Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Brasília, where she also earned her Master’s degree. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees – in Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and in Public Administration from João Pinheiro Foundation.
