Vote Monitor, created by Code for Romania/Commit Global, is Romania’s first election monitoring app and a scalable solution used worldwide. The platform replaces slow, paper-based reporting with real-time, digital observation, enabling thousands of independent observers to capture, centralize, and act on election data instantly. Since 2016, Vote Monitor has supported 32 elections across 12 countries, empowering NGOs to respond quickly, enhancing transparency, and strengthening trust in democratic processes. Designed for accessibility, it works online and offline, supports multiple languages, and is intuitive even for users with limited digital literacy, making it a reliable, adaptable tool for election monitoring anywhere.
