ESCWA Digital Arabic Content Award 2024–2025
Celebrating Innovation in Arabic Digital Content for Sustainable Development
The fourth cycle of the ESCWA Digital Arabic Content Award for Sustainable Development (2024–2025) concluded with outstanding results: seven winning projects across two categories—Institutions and Young Entrepreneurs—along with one special mention in the Young Entrepreneurs category.
The winners were officially announced on 14 April 2025 during a dedicated Award Ceremony, held as part of the Arab Forum for Sustainable Development 2025.
A Rigorous Evaluation Process
This cycle’s evaluation was carried out in two rounds by a jury of 21 regional experts—10 jurors in the Institutions category and 11 in the Young Entrepreneurs category. Submissions were reviewed on the WSA platform after an initial screening based on the rules and conditions set by the Award’s Steering Committee.

Abwaab Educational Platform (منصة أبواب التعليمية), Jordan – An interactive educational platform offering engaging video lessons, quizzes, and competitions, active across Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.

Content Style Guide (دليل أسلوب كتابة المحتوى), Egypt – A comprehensive guide to content writing and design standards, ensuring consistency, clarity, and user satisfaction across websites, apps, and emails.

FORSA (منصة فرصة), Jordan – A platform connecting learners with scholarships, internships, jobs, and counsellors, enriching skills and competitiveness with high-quality Arabic content.
Young Entrepreneurs

Adam Wa Mishmish (آدم ومشمش), Jordan – A creative educational project that makes learning Arabic fun for children through music, animation, and interactive theatre.

Climate School (مدرسة المناخ), Egypt – A volunteer initiative providing free Arabic training and resources for journalists, students, and creators to strengthen climate change and sustainability content.

Rouh (روح), Palestine – An initiative producing psychologically safe, humanitarian stories using AI and digital tools, with a focus on marginalized groups.

Wajeez (وجيز), Jordan – An audio learning app featuring book summaries, audio novels, podcasts, and performances of Arabic poetry and plays.
