Khaled Ben Hamed is Lecturer, theHead of Computer Science Department and Director of the University of Tripoli’s new Mobile Computing Program. In the academic year 2013-2014, he coordinated a team to form "mobile computing" program, and became the founding director of the new Mobile Computing program in March 2015. Also, he is representing Libya as an Eminent National Expert for WSA-mobile.

He holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from University of Tripoli in Libya and M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of New Brunswick in Canada.

Dr. Ben Hamed’s research interests are Mobile Cloud Computing, Internet/WWW Computing, Environment,and Software Engineering.
