A multi­disciplinary innovator and award winning Egyptian information activist, entrepreneur and author­ best known as co­creator of MorsiMeter; a digital online platform to document and monitor the performance of Egyptian President, Mohamed Morsi,which has attracted a global attention.

In 2016, Amr was nominated for Data Journalism Award, in the open data category for creating Mwazna; a digital platform to open government budget to everyone. Amr has a master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from Birkbeck, University of London.

In addition, he is also founder and CEO of PushBots, a fast-growing customer engagement platform that leverages engagements for mobile publishers through push messaging.
