Arturo Lopez Valerio is a technological entrepreneur, a pioneer in using and applying ICTs for the sophistication of business and innovation in marketing. He is also an expert in interaction strategies based on the use of digital tools and resources to achieve effective contact with their customers, partners and suppliers through the brand; managing benefits by reducing costs and improving data collection effectiveness.

Arturo has over 25 years of experience in the Internet industry. He has been a pioneer in Cloud Computing, eCommerce, digital marketing, media monetization, and the development of mobile applications in the Dominican Republic.

His experience ranges from national and multinational companies in the Financial, Non-Banking, Retail, Fast Food, Internet, Tourism, Beverage, and Mass Consumption industries to Government, Civil Society, and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). He has co-founded more than 11 technology-based projects. He is also responsible for entering the market of multinational brands such as Terra, TopicFlower, Meshh, and StartupsAcademy®, among others.

One of the companies he owns, TABUGA SRL, has been operating since 2011 with the purpose of "Promoting knowledge, technology, and innovation for the transformation and advancement of business growth." It develops digital communities, digital marketing strategies, and entrepreneurship, reaching more than one million Dominicans.

In the social field, he executes actions in favor of developing ICTs and reducing the digital divide at the national level, where he stands out as one of the founders of the Dominican Chamber of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT Chamber). He has also been an ICT Consultant for the NGO Alliance since 2004, where he has had the opportunity to collaborate on projects with organizations such as the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the United Nations, and organizations such as the Kellogg Foundation.

In 2010, Arturo Lopez Valerio was appointed National Expert for the Dominican Republic by WSA (World Summit Award), the UN’s flagship initiative and its Global Alliance for ICT and Development (GAID).
