Barbara Eibinger-Miedl is an Austrian politician (ÖVP) and has been a regional councillor in Styria since 25 April 2017. She was a member of the Austrian Federal Council from 2006 to 2010. From 2010 she was a Member of the Styrian Parliament and from 11 March 2014 she was the Chairwoman of the Styrian People's Party in the Styrian Parliament. On 18 April 2017, it was announced that Eibinger-Miedl would take over the office of the resigning Landesrat Christian Buchmann.
