Birgit Kolb works as COO of WESTRIVEUP, a new digitization initiative founded in Austria, which focuses on implementation and measurable impact. She is responsible for partner, community, project and event management.

Before that, she was the manager of the European Youth Award (EYA). In addition to a Europe-wide competition that annually honoured the best digital projects with added value for society by young teams, she and her team organized coding events, student, and mentorship programs and much more in the framework of EYA. Birgit is involved as a mentor for start-ups and is Vice President of the Austrian-Kosovar Friendship Society. She studied law and economics. She lives in Salzburg and loves the mountains.
