Christian Kittl is the managing director of the innovation center evolaris next level GmbH in Graz, which specializes in the development of "Digital Assistance Systems," where he has been active since 2000. He holds a degree in Telematics from TU Graz, earned his doctorate in Business Administration at Karl-Franzens University, and is the author of over 50 publications.

Christian Kittl is a member of the IFIP Working Group 8.4 (E-Business: Multi-disciplinary Research and Practice) and serves on various advisory boards for international conferences and journals in the fields of e- and m-business. He has also lectured at various universities and was the captain and mentor of the 2010 cohort in the Information Technologies & Business Informatics program at FH Campus02 in Graz.
