Emeka Farrier is a visionary digital transformation leader and award-winning GovTech architect with a passion for building technology that improves lives and strengthens institutions. He is the creator of Local TT, Trinidad and Tobago’s national public engagement platform, which empowers citizens to report infrastructure and community issues in real time. The platform was internationally recognized with the World Summit Award 2024 in the Government & Citizen Engagement category.
Today, Emeka also helps drive WSA forward, architecting technological solutions that serve its global network of innovators across 180+ UN member states. By expanding WSA’s digital capabilities, he is enabling faster collaboration, deeper knowledge-sharing, and greater impact for social-tech entrepreneurs worldwide.
Emeka holds a degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of the West Indies and brings 15+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying high-impact digital solutions. His work bridges the public and private sectors, delivering projects in public health, municipal governance, civic reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
Through initiatives like Uplift—a scalable, AI-powered civic-engagement platform—Emeka continues to champion inclusive innovation. He also develops AI-driven applications for both government and industry, helping institutions modernize processes and strengthen connections with the people they serve.
