Ernesto "Ernie" Garbarino founded Yagua.com in 1997, the first major portal (web directory, classified ads, news, free e-mail, etc.) in Paraguay to become the top most ranked site (Alexa) and receive venture capital (Explorador Capital Management) in the country in the Online/Digital sector.

Since then, he has consulted for Fortune 500 companies in the Telecoms, Logistics and Financial sectors throughout the Americas, EMEA, and APAC markets in the areas of Integration, Digital Transformation, Cloud, and DevOps.

Ernesto holds a master's degree in software engineering and two diplomas in computing from the University of Oxford; all three with distinction.
