Giorgi Bestavashvili graduated from V. Komarov Advanced Physics and Mathematics School in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is currently studying at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, having received a full scholarship from the Stipendium Hungaricum program.

Together with his friend Beka Babunashvili, Giorgi invented Sign&Sound, a sign language translator glove for the deaf. The project won the Social Impact Award in 2017, and they attended the WSA Global Congress in Vienna in 2018 as guests. In 2018, they also won the WSA Young Innovators Award for Sign&Sound and were recognized again at the WSA Global Congress in 2019 in Cascais.
