Javier is the father of a 10 year old daughter, as well as a Forestry Engineer from Universidad Agraria La Molina (UNALM). He has followed postgraduate programs in Forestry Business at Universidad Pacifico; Quality Management and Environmental Auditing at UNALM and Design Thinking and Agile Innovation Management at Marcelino Champagnat University. He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Public Management at Universidad Continental.
Javier has more than 18 years of experience leading projects on Sustainability, Climate Change, Carbon Footprint and Circular Economy with public and private sectors, civil society and international cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean.
He is currently Manager of Sustainability Services at SGS Peru from where he seeks to promote the development of sustainability business in Latin America and is part of several initiatives to promote sustainability among the private and public sector. Additionally, Javier has been recognized as one of the Sustainable Minds by Forbes magazine.
