Johannes Cech has been part of the online industry since 2002 when he started at Geizhals, an online price comparison platform which is well known in the German-speaking market. There he was co-owner and accompanied the company’s growth from a few people with a dream to a well-established company with a market share of about 90 per cent in its home market.

Since 2015 he is CEO of the holding company JCCI, which invests in promising startups. With his company he targets mostly brand new, very early stage companies in the technology and IT sector – mainly online businesses. He understands himself as an investor who closely involves himself in the companies he works with. He advises them - and also corporates - when it comes to business models, controlling and digital strategy.
