He has worked for five years as a Climate Advisor for the German Cooperation for Sustainable Development in Mexico (GIZ), currently collaborating with the Digital Transformation Center. He has also collaborated with other institutions such as the Nobel Laureate´s Mario Molina Research Centre, the Mexican Ministry of Energy and international organizations such as the UN Sustainable Energy for All Initiative and the UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre. Juan Carlos truly believes that global efforts towards a decarbonized future are entirely compatible with a sustainable digital transformation that enables the possibility of leaving no one behind. Therefore innovation, inclusive technological development and a planetary approach on our economies are key drivers to design and take disruptive pathways into action for a sustainable future.
