Karin is a sustainability expert with many years of extensive international experience. She works stakeholder-centred, with a great sense for combining ethics with communication and creativity. She has an academic education in Communication & Psychology as well as Business Ethics & Corporate Responsibility.
She is co-founder and director of Circular Economy Forum Austria, a multi-stakeholder initiative to support regenerative business innovation for circular transition, dedicated to drive collaboration for a sustainable future. Understanding the challenging needs for behaviour change, she recently initiated 'nudging4sustainability' a co-creating research & design lab to support responsible brands and organisations.
Karin publishes regulary on topics related to sustainable development and circular economy, is a conference speaker and moderator. She is enthusiastic about the great opportunities the SDGs provide for corporate innovation and embraces Circular Economy for sustainable business innovation.
Karin has also founded 'csr & communication', an internationally operating consulting firm for Corporate Sustainability & Innovation, Stakeholder Relationship Management & Communications, dedicated to achieve the Global Goals.
She is Academic Programm Director of a postgraduate masterprogramm on "Sustainability & Responsible Management" and "Sustainable Finance", and lectures Business & Management Ethics, CSR and Stakeholder Communication at several universities of applied sciences.
Karin has vast international project experience, ranging from Sustainability Strategy, CSR Communication & Sustainability Reporting, ISO 26000, AA1000SES, Business- and Management Ethics to Responsible Banking & Finance, Responsible Advertising, Communication- and Mediapsychology.
