Kristina Maurer is a technology expert, media scientist and cultural producer at the nexus of digital technology and culture, digital transformation and innovation. As part of the Digital Technologies team in the Technology Services department of Vienna Business Agency, she is currently the expert responsible for the key topics of digital humanism, digital sustainability and data and supports Viennese SMEs in the area of networking and funding opportunities. In her professional career to date, she has acted as Head of European Projects for the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz and executive producer for "Compass – Navigating the Future", the redesign of the Ars Electronica Center. Her research interests focus on the socio-political and societal implications of digital technologies, human-centered technology development and innovation, and the intersection of technology, art and innovation. Kristina Maurer lives and works in Linz and Vienna.
