Loizza Aquino is the Social Innovation and Outreach Manager at TakingITGlobal, where she leads the Sprout Ideas Fellowship, empowering youth to strengthen their social innovation skills and access microgrants of up to $5,000 for community projects. She holds an H.BSc. from the University of Toronto in Mental Health and International Development. A passionate advocate for youth mental health, Loizza is a recipient of the RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Award and the YMCA Peace Medal.

Since joining TakingITGlobal in 2020 to support the #RisingYouth program — as both a team member and proud alumni — she has continued to champion youth-led change. As a global speaker, Loizza has shared stages around the world to highlight the importance of mental health conversations and recently interviewed the U.S. Surgeon General on youth well-being.
