Martin Mössler studied mechanical engineering at University of Technology Graz, then Political Science in Salzburg, International Relations in Oxford, and completed a Master´s degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Professional positions led to the staff of Federal President Dr. Heinz Fischer (Department of Science and Research), the management of a tourism company as well as the rectorate of the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.
From 2010-2016 he worked as the assistant to the Rector of TU Graz, Univ. Prof. Dr. Hans Sünkel, President of the Austrian University Conference, Satellite Geodesist and Head of various ESA Missions and a full member of the IAF.
Since June 2016, Martin Mössler has been Managing Director of Science Park Graz, which also manages the European Space Agency’s Business Incubation Centre for Austria and Southeast Europe. Due to his leadership competence, his international biography and broad networking skills, he leads the Austrian organization successfully and even managed to cover the entire value chain of incubation by bringing the ESA BIC to Austria and beyond. He still works with Hans Sünkel, who is on the Board of ESA BIC Austria, as well as with former long-term ESA Director General, Jean- Jacques Dordain, who is member of the Board of ESA BIC Austria as well.
