Mason Wirtz holds a master‘s degree from Bowling Green State University in German Studies "Germanistik" and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Salzburg. From 2018-2020 he worked as a German as a foreign language trainer for university exchange students in Austria. In addition, he has taught integration courses and enjoys aiding individuals preparing to take German language examinations.

In his position at Salzburg College, Mason regularly holds seminars in a variety of disciplines including German, German as a Foreign Language and European History. As the Academic Programs Manager, he also strives to constantly expand the college's curricula and works on conceptualizing new ones. Moreover, he works closely with students to support them in achieving their academic goals.
