Nazir Atul is a Tanzanian social entrepreneur with a Bachelor’s degree in economics and international trade. He is a digital marketer and the director and co-founder of the startup, Visual Aided Stories (VAS). VAS is yputh led organisation that uses art in form of murals for social change and a marketing tool. Through VAS, he and his team have been able to recruit over 1000 youth from marginalised communities, trained them at the hub on our 3 programs( career development, leadership skills and entrepreneurship) and then provide opportunities and a paltform to showcase their capabilities through art and earn invome in the process. At VAS, Nazir is the Senior Program mananger. For the past 3 years, Nazir has been featured and won awards in different categories on the UN SDG Action Campaign 2023 Changaker category in Italy, and 2020 in HDIF for best Innovation Challenge during Covid-19. Furthermore, he is a 2023 UN SDG action alumni Fellow, WSA YOUTH ambassador and a 2023 Canon Youth storyteller entrepreneur. He also mentors young girls under the STEM Queens program in Tanzania.
