Nurul Hasnat Ove is a passionate young leader from Bangladesh who is committed to creating positive change through youth empowerment and sustainable practices. He currently serves as President of QS Impact & World Merit in Bangladesh and is also the President of the Leadership Development Association International in Bangladesh, focusing on leadership development and social innovation.
Nurul has previously worked as a Consultant at UNESCO MGIEP, contributing to education and youth empowerment programs. He is a Co-Lead of Membership & Engagement for the Ocean Youth Working Group and the Asian Representative for the Commonwealth Youth Climate Change Network. He has been nominated for the Commonwealth Youth Award of Excellence 2022 and holds honorary positions with organizations like the Max Thabiso Edkins Climate Ambassador and Global Youth Ambassador for Theirworld.
Active in climate action and education, Nurul is involved in initiatives such as beach cleanups and waste reduction. He is a representative of Bangladesh to the UNESCO SDG4 Youth & Student Network and a member of the UNESCO Global Youth Community. Nurul has represented Bangladesh in various international forums, including COP23 and the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
Recognized as a Young Scholar by the Economy of Francesco, Nurul Hasnat Ove has also served as a jury member for the UN Solution Summit and UNLEASH Innovation Lab. He has received numerous awards, including the SDG Advancer Award and the Emerging Scholar Award. Currently, Nurul is pursuing an ACCA professional degree at BPP University, continuing his commitment to empowering youth and combating climate change.
