In 2020, Philippe Linster joined the House of Startups (HoST) as their new CEO and he also represents the institution on various boards (Luxembourg Business Angels Network, Luxinnovation, etc.). Philippe joined the Chamber of Commerce in 2017 as an advisor at the House of Entrepreneurship and was in charge of the ‘Investor care’ platform dedicated to advising foreign investors interested in Luxembourg.
The HoST was set up in 2017 by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce with the ambition to become a driving force behind the startup and innovation ecosystem in Luxembourg. HoST’s mission is to federate, promote, and support the startup ecosystem and the innovation needs of businesses and other organizations. HoST supports and promotes innovation, the creation of innovative startups, and the diversification of the economy.
The HoST is also an innovation campus of nearly 6,000 square meters spread over five floors in the heart of Luxembourg. It welcomes a diverse community and is the home to over 175 startups and several innovation hubs, including the Luxembourg-City Incubator, the Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT), Le Village by C.A., and the International Climate Finance Accelerator (ICFA) Luxembourg.
