Dr. Pranita Upadhyaya is a skilled and results-driven professional with extensive experience in IT management, software solutions, telehealth, and the development and implementation of disease prediction models using AI in healthcare and business transformation.

Currently, she serves as the Head of the ITU Area Office for South Asia and Innovation Centre at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). There, she contributes to regional ICT initiatives aligned with global objectives and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this role, Dr. Upadhyaya builds partnerships with governments, the private sector, and regional organizations, advocating for digital transformation, inclusion, and resource mobilization to drive impactful change.

With over 27 years of experience across academia, government, NGOs, and the private sector, she has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to technological advancement and digital education.
