Prof.Kah is the current VC/President & Professor of Information Technology & Communications at The University of The Gambia. He was appointed as the Coordinator of The Gambia’s STI Policy & Science park initiative by the President of The Gambia. He is the 3rd VC/President of The UTG & the 1st Gambian to hold the post.
Prof.Kah taught in several reputable universities including: Howard,Rutgers,American University,DC; Adjunct Assoc.Professor at GWU & Saint Mary’s University,Canada, extension program in The Gambia; Founding Dean, School of Information, Technology and Communications (2005-2009) & doubled as Interim Dean for the School of Business & Entrepreneurship at the American University of Nigeria; Founding Director of the African Center for ICT Innovations & Training & doubled as CIO(2008-09); Chairman of the Information Systems & Operations Management Dept. at the American University of Sharjah in the UAE(2003-2005). He was the Founding Director of Institutional Research & Strategic Planning at Bloomfield College, NJ. His corporate work experience included AT&T Bell Labs, Strand Management Solutions, Inc.,Educational Testing Services &The World Bank, etc.
