Samitha Vidhanaarachchi is a passionate researcher, innovator, and mentor dedicated to solving real-world challenges through technology. With a First-Class Honors degree in Software Engineering from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at Murdoch University, Australia.

A firm believer in the power of technology-driven impact, Samitha and his team were crowned Global Champions at WSA 2021 for their product, CocoRemedy. His innovative work extends to multiple award-winning projects, including HearMe, BrightMinds, DevRelax, and Lankan Legacy, earning both national and international recognition.

Beyond research, Samitha Vidhanaarachchi is deeply passionate about entrepreneurship and mentoring young innovators. As a former lecturer at SLIIT, he worked closely with aspiring entrepreneurs, helping them shape their ideas and navigate their journeys. He strongly believes that young minds have the potential to drive meaningful change and is committed to supporting them in building a more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient future.
