M4Jam is a technology company in South Africa connecting businesses to people seeking work via a mobile app. Through gig work M4Jam links jobbers with organisations needing micro-tasks completed. Armed with smartphones, the people most in need can earn all or additional income by taking on micro-jobs ranging from surveys, education and mystery shopping to product and concept testing and more. The M4JAM platform enables start-ups, SMEs or big business, as well as NGOs and governments, to connect directly with rural and peri-urban communities.
