04 Quality Education10 Reduced inequalities

With nearly 10 million hearing impaired across the country and barely any sign language interpreters, Pakistan lags in catering to the needs of its deaf population. To compound that issue, there exists no infrastructure, no standardized protocols as well as no future plans to change the status quo. ConnectHear gives the deaf a voice through its interpretation services and now is finalizing development of its own VRS application, along with training and deploying a large human resource pool of sign language interpreters and work towards standardizing the profession with private certification programs, in collaboration with the local government. ConnectHear is also Pakistans largest sign language content producers with nearly 600 videos viewed more than 2M times.
