Atrask (Discover) is an innovative initiative with an online app based in the rural Lithuanian community of Aukštadvari, fostering intergenerational collaboration between youth and seniors to preserve and revitalize local cultural heritage. Memorable legends and stories told by seniors were selected by the children and youth involved in the project. Inspired by the town's elders, Atrask creates interactive routes, maps, guides, and games to enrich Lithuanian tourism and engage travelers in adventurous, educational experiences. Atrask not only promotes inclusivity and sustainability but also strengthens community ties across generations, encourages active citizenship, and cultivates a deeper appreciation for local culture and history. The website is available in five languages.
