Humanity has to change its behavior in favor of nature. A rousing game is an ideal way to get a child’s attention. Guardian of Eden is an online game where children learn how important the environment can be, and how the world changes for the better if they take care of it. On the website visitors can build their own Garden of Eden and share it with friends. The garden can be extended by solving environmental issues in the game, collecting items or going through the main storyline. Issues can be discussed with friends through voice chat or a variety of mini games which are also available online can be played. Guardian of Eden is also presented at a number of events where children can experience the minigames for real. This gets them even more involved with the environment. Third party developers have the opportunity to create their own in-game advertisements and level packs. This can be done in cooperation with charities. Users receive a parental guide with a copy of Guardian of Eden. This guide informs on the issues that the children will learn about while playing.
