The concept of the JST Virtual Science Center website is to bring ‘ordinary’ people closer to the world of science, following the motto “You and Science.” There are different topics available. “Being Alive” focuses on the mysteries of the body, “Find Out” deals – among other subtopics – with the chemistry of fireworks, with sports and mathematics, “Our Lives” explains how watches, clocks and other devices work, “The Earth” talks about dinosaurs and the history of our planet, and “The Universe” features satellites, far-away planets and subtopics on the Moon and the Apollo space missions.
