mmPro from Sri Lanka is a digital solution for the management of mining licenses. Over-extraction in illegal locations, transport to unauthorized destinations, misuse of mining and transport licenses and bribing of law enforcement officers are common practices of a ‘mafia’ with political backing. The mmPro solution is a mobile app, web & SMS interface with portable printer digitizing operations for the license issuing officer, license owner, transporter, police, enforcement officers and management. mmPro enables the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau to end mining corruption in Sri Lanka.
