Public Library of Science – PLoS Biology

The Public Library of Science (PLoS) is a non-for-profit organization of scientists and physicians committed to making the world's scientific and medical literature freely available as public resource. PloSBiology.org provides free and unrestricted access to scientific literature. It is a high-profile multidisciplinary journal which publishes original research articles across all fields of biology as well as synopses intended for the non-professional reader. An editorial board includes 120 scientists in all continents. PloS Biology aims at making scientific information and the scientific process accessible to a wider audience.
