STRAP

STRAP is a wearable device that helps blind people moving around independently. The equipment replaces the outdated white cane. The device designed to vibrate when any type of obstacle is detected, alerting and preventing visually impaired people of possible collisions. The product contains of several sensors that can detect obstacles at the head, chest, or lower levels, including bumps, holes, and stairs. STRAP uses vision sensors, pattern recognition algorithms and two Artificial Intelligence algorithms.
