The simulation software Visdom is a world-unique tool that can precisely simulate floods, heavy rainfall, and other climate change-related extreme weather events in a matter of seconds. For this, Visdom combines simulation, analysis, and visualization to map the way of a drop of water from the first second it falls from the sky: Where it lands, how it flows, and where it might cause damage. The Visdom simulation tool is ideally suited for precautionary and disaster management but also for planning water-sensitive urban and landscape planning measures – such as Sponge Cities. All this can be viewed very clearly in 2D, and also 3D, making complex simulation data easy to understand even for the general public.
