WelcoMe is a low-cost web-based service enabling any person with a disability to forewarn participating businesses of their visit and special needs. 70% of disabled people report experiencing poor customer service. Using WelcoMe, businesses can ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and possible best practices. By connecting the arrival of the person with disabilities to their smartphone and using location-aware technology, WelcoMe trains staff to expect, welcome, and know exactly how to help the client.
