Delivering personalized, multilingual guidance via voice, text, image, and video, it provides actionable advice on pests, seeds, fertilizers, weather, and markets—especially empowering women and low-literacy farmers. In under a year, it grew from 15,000 to 250,000 users in India, with women making up 40% of the user base. Costing less than $1 per farmer annually, FarmerChat improves productivity, incomes, and climate resilience while scaling access to government schemes, marketplaces, and training—demonstrating how digital innovation can drive inclusive, sustainable impact.
