MobilePay

MobilePay is a mobile payment solution that provides you with an easy way to transfer money to other users or to pay for goods and services online or in physical stores. It’s as easy as sending a text. All you do is enter you 4-digit pin, the amount, choose the receiver and swipe. It’s that easy. When choosing the receiver you have 3 options; 1) enter a cell phone number, 2) choose a contact in your phone book or 3) choose a shop on the list of shops nearby accepting MobilePay (geo-location).
MobilePay is completely free and available for everyone. Registration takes less than 5 minutes.
MobilePay has been on Apples top 10 list of free app since launch May 2013 (occupying 1st place majority of time) and more than 1/3 of all Danes with a smart phone have used the app (1,3 million users). It’s so easy that it has already become an industry standard and the app is used so frequently that the name has become a verb e.g. “don’t worry, I will get the check. You can just MobilePay me later”
