Announcing the Ultimate Champions of the Winner’s Pitching Sessions
On Tuesday, the 23rd of July, WSA hosted the Winners' Live Pitch Event on Zoom.
The WSA Winners' Live Pitch Event provided an opportunity for the winners, who couldn't attend the Congress in person to present their innovative projects via a live stream to the global WSA community. The event was designed to showcase groundbreaking solutions, foster interactions between winners and the audience, and facilitate learning and networking.
The session was moderated by Jason Muloongo and Michaela Ternasky-Holland. The event began with opening remarks by WSA Chairperson Peter A. Bruck, setting the stage for an inspiring afternoon. Each winning team had three minutes to pitch their project to a panel of jurors. The pitch followed by a three-minute Q&A session, allowing for insightful exchanges with the jurors.
The event concluded with networking, insights, and knowledge-sharing sessions in breakout rooms, where participants could engage more deeply with the presenters, jurors and fellow attendees. At the end, the jurors picked the Global Champions of the Live Pitch Event.
