Upon deliberation, the WSA has picked Hyderabad, India, as the location for the next Global Congress. Many of the network are already familiar with this location, as it is where the Grand Jury was hosted in February 2024. Hyderabad is the capital of the Telangana state in India. It is a major tech hub in India, second only to Bangalore. In the few years, many big IT companies like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, IBM, Yahoo, and Dell have opened branches Hyderabad.

The Global Congress event will be cohosted by the Digital Empowerment Foundation and the Telangana Government, both of whom have been friends of WSA for some time. Be sure to mark your calendars for what is sure to be a memorable experience!

This year, we are excited to host 40 WSA winners alongside 400+ start-ups, social entrepreneurs, and experts from over 80 countries. The Congress will provide a platform for exchanging ideas, sharing best practices, and co-creating sustainable solutions for a digitally inclusive future.
