Mexico Visa Application

The Netherlands or any of the European Union States passport holders do not need a visa to visit Mexico for as long as 180 days. They will only be required to fill an immigration form at the point of entry. Immigration authorities might also ask to provide proof of the purpose of the trip.

Depending on the nationality, it might be needed a visa to visit Mexico.

To travel to Mexico, it is necessary to have the following:

  • A valid passport with more than six months of validity (Mexican authorities require a passport to be valid for the duration of the stay in Mexico, but transit countries and airline companies may have other requirements).
  • A properly completed Multiple Migratory Form (FMM). The FMM can be obtained from the airline or at the port of entry, but to expedite the registration at the border, it is possible to fill out and print it in advance in this link.
  • The Immigration Authorities at the port of entry may request certain documents to prove the purpose of the visit depending on the planned activities in Mexico.
